Are there different types of body sculpting treatments? There are several different types of body sculpting treatments. The three types we’ll focus on here first are treatments using ultrasound , radio frequency, and cold sculpt to target and shape areas. Ultrasound Cavitation uses ultrasound waves to break down fat. Ultrasound frequencies are very gentle on the skin and allow you to precisely target specific areas on your body. Hydration is important. Radiofrequency body sculpting procedures use energy to create heat to tighten loose skin and target unwanted cellulite. This type of procedure specifically goes after the water in fat cells, so it’s important to make sure you’re hydrated beforehand and drink plenty of water afterward. CRYO cool sculpting treatment uses a device that suctions skin and then uses cold temperatures to kill the fat underneath the skin. The cold temperatures do not damage the skin.

Most of us have had procedures done where we’re not supposed to eat for 5+ hours beforehand. Thankfully, you don’t have to worry about that with body contouring! However, there are a few simple things Lalique Shaped recommends you do before coming in for your body contouring appointment: *Keep your meals light and try not to eat 2 hrs before your scheduled appointment for best result. * Increase your water intake for 2 days beforehand. Because sculpting treatments target the water in fat cells, keeping hydrated before and after your appointment will help the effectiveness of the procedure. *Use the restroom before a scheduled sculpting session. The procedures promote the feeling of wanting to expel the body during the session because your body wants to empty out toxins and fat cells right away. * Healthier life style is recommended, Healthy eating and staying active is important for results.
